Kae Kae Banana is ONE!!!

Kae Kae Banana turned 1 year old on 11/23/11. We had a great day together. We went to a Gymboree class in the morning which she loved. Afterwords we stopped my Target and she passed out. I guess that was too much for her lol. After all the fun we went home for lunch and naptime. Then it was time for Pictures and Build-A-Bear. She had the best day! That night we had a special dinner and gave her a cupcake for the first time. She was on one crazy sugar high like I had never seen before.

That Saturday we had her party. Banana themed of course and she had a great time!!! I can't believe she is sooooo big now!

Growing Up

Yesterday was Riker's first day of Pre-K. His teacher's name is Mrs. Pritts and she seems nice. He is so proud of his back pack and lunch box. He thinks he is so grown up now. Yesterday mom took the girls to school so I could take him to his first day. He had breakfast in the cafeteria and when I began instructing him on what to do with his tray when he was done he stopped me, told me he knew, and told me what he needed to do with it. On our walk from the cafeteria to his class he told me that I could go home now and leave him at school. I dropped him off at his class and left shortly after since he began ignoring me and didn't really want me there. :( I was so anxious to pick him up and hear about his first day. I get there and he looks at me like he was disappointed I showed up. He asked me if we were going to ride the bus and when I told him no he began to cry. He started to tell me he was a big boy and big boys ride the school bus home. He said he really wanted to ride it and told me, "Talk to dad. I wanna ride the bus." I called and told Sean the problem. Today he will be riding the bus to our house and I will wait for him there. He is getting on the bus in just one hour and my stomach is in knots. I am a nervous wreck! I know he will be fine. But I am FREAKING OUT!!!

Rien Rae's 2nd Birthday!!!

Last Monday was Rien Rae's 2nd Birthday. We decided instead of buying her gifts we would give her money and take her to pick out her own. We started off the day at Target where she picked a doll she just loved! After that we took her to get her bangs trimed and nails done (Pigtails & Crewcuts = awful). Then we took her to Claires and then the mall. She spent all her money on the doll and clothes. That girl sure is picky about her clothes! She had a great day. Before we went home we took her to Sharkey's to get her nails done properly and she loved them. We had dinner and a pink cake with Paw Paw & Yo Yo @ our house to end the day. Overall, it was a great day! I love that girl.

Riker & Rien Rae's Birthday Party

This past Saturday was Riker & Rien's birthday party. They had so much fun and the party went great.

I have always been anti double parties but this year since they have friends in common and sibling friends I thought this was best. I am glad I did and we will probably do it again next year.

The party was at 10am. At 10:00am when only "my people" had arrived Kae Kae went down for nap and slept until about 10 minutes after the last guest left. That made things so easy not having to worry about her while the kids ran around and played.

After the party Natalie and I poorly put Rien's toys together and Sean & Blake played with Riker's toys.

My 24th Birthday!!!

On Sunday, July 17th we went out to lunch at Logan's after church. My mom and Whit, Joe & Yolanda, Natalie & Blake all came. And of course all the kiddos and my honey. Whit surprised me with a new pink Coach which I love. Mommy paid to get my hair cut and highlighted by Clarissa. :) Sean got me a new dress and belt. Oh and I got a great new dress and such with the money I got from my dad.

On Friday Natalie took me out for my birthday. Sean and I went with Natalie and Blake to Sherlocks where we met up with Natasha.....a little later than planned. Sorry again Natasha. :) At Sherlocks Blake showed me how to do the Cupid Shuffle which I proudly demonstrated for my mother at 3am. LOL. After minus Natasha we headed down to 6th and had a lot of fun. Glad Natalie Jayne and Blake took me to some fun places with my hubbers I had a great birthday celebration!!!

Riker's 4th Birthday

Riker's Birthday was awesome. One the 10th we had a special lunch for him. Just us and his Angel. With cupcakes and presents. Then on his actually birthday Sean I took just him to The Dinosaur Park & Fossil Rim in Glen Rose, Texas. He had a great time and has not stopped talking about going back to the Dinosaur Park. Oh and now when he plays with his regular animals horses, etc. he has a car drive through them while the attack his side mirrors like the Zebras did to our car. It's too funny. The night of his birthday we met Angel, Paw Paw, Yo Yo, Natalie, and Blake at Cici's for pizza and cake. All in all I'd say Riker really enjoyed his birthday. This Saturday is his and Rien's birthday party and he is soooooo excited!

July 2011!!!

July is here!!! Oh how I love all the excitement and stress it brings. Here is what we have planned.

• Tomorrow is our 7 year anniversary of being together. Dang! Go us!


• On the 10th we will take Riker for a birthday lunch.


• The 13th I am taking off work because Riker and I are going to Glen Rose, Texas to The Dinosaur Park for his 4th birthday!!! He is growing up so fast. That night we will meet up with Daddy, his sisters, and Angel for Pizza and cupcakes!


• The 17th-27th Haley Rae and Peyton Rae will be in Texas!!! So excited!!!


• The 17th we will have my birthday lunch.


• The 18th is my 24th birthday! Heck yes. :) I also plan on being done to my goal weight by then. Once I get to my goal weight I really need to get serious about toning up and might try to loose up to 5 more pounds.


• The Friday or Saturday after my birthday we are going out. I also want to do something fun like the beach or something but idk, doubtful.


• The 30th Riker and Rien Rae will be having their 4th and 2nd birthday party. Riker is so excited!!! I am still working on the invitations though and getting address. I have to have them done by Friday!


• The 31st James is coming back. One day after the party.

My Little Daredevil

I have this beautiful little girl named Rien Rae. She is such a girly girl with her love for jewelry, purses, Barbies, etc. BUT...she is also a daredevil. So far this year she has received approximately 10-15 bruises on her head. In March she broke her clavical. This past Tuesday she sliced her head open and required staples. Yesterday and school she busted her lip on the inside and the outside. She currently looks like she got in a bar fight. At under two years old she has broken a bone and received staples. At almost 24 I have never broken anything but a toe and never had stitches or staples. Seriously, she's my baby girl but 10 bucks says she attends her prom in a beautiful dress, hair done, nails done, and a cast of some sort. That's my girl!!!

May...off to a good start. :)

Last night Rien and I went to Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes. I made he a tutu and had a bow made for the occasion. She was so excited to get ready, we had to leave the house early because she didn't want to wait. We arrived right before 5pm and were the first people there since it didn't start until 6pm. We walked around to all the vendors and she decided she wanted one of those light up things were the inside spins. Then she wanted to get her picture taken with Ariel (her favorite). Then she wanted a hot dog, a pretzel, and a water. She ate the entire hot dog and half the preztel....hungry girl. For 35 minutes prior to the show starting we walked up and down the stands. She walked around greeting people like she was the hostess. Then some little girls wanted to take their picture with her because she looked like a true fairy princess. I blamed Rien and said she wasn't a fan of having her picture taken so that I wouldn't have to say no. Everytime they saw her they would wave at her and get all excited. It was too funny. She loved the show and couldn't wait to tell daddy all about it when we got home. We had no idea what she was saying but she sure did.

As for my weight loss, I lost 3 of the 5...:( But 5 lbs in 10 days was probably pushing it. My next goal is 7 lbs by June 1st.

About 3 weeks ago I decided to become a vegetarian. My biggest problem with this is habits. I have discovered soooo many meatless recipes and while Sean isn't doing the same, he has to at home since I am not going to cook two separate meals. He has tried and loved all my vegetarian meals. Our favorite so far has been the Skillet Lasagna with Veggies. :)

We are currently working on moving back to Round Rock. I hate our landlord and we want to move back by my mom and brother. So, hopefully we can accomplish this quickly. :)

Currently, at the Armstrong household...

We are trying to find a 3rd row car! This Jeep Compass just isn't cutting it. We are currently paying to payments and are going to have to start out upside down. :( Right now to avoid having the 3 kiddos crammed in the back seat Sean transports Riker and I transport the girls.

Weight loss. I have been lazy on this whole weight loss thing. I still have a total of 13 pounds to loose as of today. :( All the baby weight is gona except for 3 pounds that came back after I lost them but this extra weight has gotta go! I have set some mini goals for myself and my first one of 5 lbs by 5/1/11 is almost here and I still have 3 to go. Wish me luck!!!

This past Saturday Rien Rae and I went to a Gymboree class in Round Rock and she loved it! I didn't sign her up just yet though because of Riker's sports and us being far away but I am trying to figure out something for her so that we can have something that's hers like Rike has sports. :)

Easter weekend was fun. On Saturday we went to mom's house to hung out all day
and colored eggs with the kiddos. Sunday morning we went to church then to Olive Garden (yum) and home for the kiddos to hunt eggs! I went a little overboard on their 2nd Easter baskets but they were excited so who cares!

Kaedence turned 5 months!!! We let her try rice cereal for the first time and she really liked it! We are going to give her a little once a day for this week and then switch her to twice a day next week. Also, her doctor diagnosed her with reflux so she has be on meds for that. Poor little girl has has some little issue or another since she was born.

Riker has two more T-ball games left then it's soccer time!!! :) We will have a few weeks of inbetween but that is all! I love that he is in sports now. He is so fun to watch.

We are trying to find a different rental property right now to bring us back into Round Rock for a few different reasons but mostly because we miss my mommy. LOL. :)

Sean's job @ Seton is going great he loves it! Yay him!

March 2011

March 2011.....CRAZINESS!!! Riker started T-Ball this month. He has been doing great at practice but at his first game....not so good. His daddy started his new job at Seton and had to work that day. He was not pleased. He was hard to handle. When he would play he did well. But it was hard to get him to play. He was happy that Paw Paw, Yo Yo, Angel, Grandpa, Uncle James, Natalie, and Mia were there but that wasn't enough to make him happy. After the game we had hot dogs and baseball cupcakes with Angel, Grandpa, and Uncle James. Then after getting dressed in "Mia Approved Clothing" we headed to Mia Jayne's 2nd 1st Birthday party. The kids had a blast. Riker became friends with Natalie's 4 year old cousin, Michael and they had a fun together. Mia fell asleep on me near the end of the party she was worn out! They all were. We got home around 8pm and put the girls to bed. Rien whined a little in her sleep but never woke up. The next day (Sunday) she woke up screaming. Within minutes Sean had discovered it was her clavical and took her to the Cedar Park Regional. X-Rays confirmed she had broken her clavical bone. A clean break. Most likely done at her friend's house playing with Riker. We haven't seen the speacialist yet but so far we are hearing 6-10 weeks in the sling. So the past few days have been nuts with my job being so demanding expecially at the end of the month. Rien is confused and and pain, I feel so bad for her. Bring on April....I am so done with March!

February 2011

February ends today and I have a feeling March will be crazy. With sports, getting this army stuff going...finally, parties, etc.

Let's start with Riker:
Riker starts T-Ball in March! I am so excited! I have a parent meeting to go to on Saturday and the first game is March 26, 2011. :) I can't wait.

Rien Rae is now in a toddler bed. She's such a big girl now and goofy. She plays jokes on us and makes faces at us until we laugh....gotta love her!

Kaedence got her ears pierced yesterday and she looks so pretty! She cried for less than 30 seconds and got over it in a flash.

We are trying to eat better in our household. It's hard though cuz Sean and I love our soda's and pizza.

I have gotten back to the gym. It has been FOREVER. I'm currently going 5 nights a week until I loose the 15 pounds....now 14. Then I will back down to 3ish. The other night I burned 887 calories....YAY me!

Sean goes to MEPS Wednesday and next Monday-ish we will find out when and where Basic & AIT will be. YAY him!

That's our life right now...bring it on. :)

Life With 3 Kiddos

Riker is doing great! He loves Kaedence and hates when any of the kids in his class look at her or touch her when I pick him up. He'll stand in front of her and go, "NO! That's MY Kaedence." He is fully potty trained and has been since right before Kaedence was born. NO MORE PULL UPS!!! Which was perfect timing since I had to start buying diapers for another baby. He loves Thomas the Train, playing in his new kitchen/grocery store with Rien Rae, and hanging out at Angel's house or Paw Paw & Yo Yo's. He is an amazing little boy who will be starting pre-k in the fall of this year. :/

Rien Rae is an awesome! She finally started walked full time right before her sister was born. She is the sweetest little girl. Always wants hugs and kisses. She loves playing with her baby dolls and her brother. She loves shopping and doesn't like to leave the house without her purse. She also loves her sister and runs into the room yelling at me if Kaedence is crying. I just love her and her giant smile.

Kaedence is just a blessing. We love having her around. She eats 24/7. I feel like she is always on me. She is a good sleeper at night...5 out of 7 nights she sleeps all night. :)

Have 3 kids is an adjustment but we love it!!! #4 will finish our family in 2-3 years...and yes he or she will have a K name. :)
