I'm Pregnant?

So, I was supposed to have my period on the 22nd and I didn't. I didn't want to immediately go out and take a test like I did last month and end up with false positives. I waited a week. I had barely had time to set it down on the counter when two lines popped up. Reasons we believe it this time: 1) We took a First Response test this time. Last time we did cheapos. 2) Last time I kept asking Sean when I felt pregnant with Riker b/c I didn't feel pregnant. I don't feel that way this time. EDD: Saturday, August 29, 2009. We will get it confirmed by the end of the week.
Pregnancy - 7 weeks

We were very happy to have our pregnancy confirmed on January 5th!I've had a hard time eating so far. Pretty much everything sounds nasty or makes me feel horrible after. Haven't thrown up, at least not yet. On Friday (1/9/09) I woke up feeling pretty crappy. Not too bad though. Then when I used my mouthwash I nearly hurled. I got extremely overheated and had to stop getting ready. I layed down for 45 minutes then got up and finished getting ready for work. Suffered through work all day. Between feeling sick because of the baby, having a terrible headache, killer allergies, and back problems I've been having for about 3 weeks it was a pretty crappy day. Once 5pm hit I went home and immediately layed down in the dark and skipped my brother's birthday dinner. When Sean and Riker got back from dinner. I was worse. Much worse. I couldn't open my eyes and see any kind of light. Looking at my phone was beyond painful. Walking the literally 1 1/2 feet to the bathroom almost made me pass out. It was bad. Next thing you know my room is full with Sean, my mom, Rickey, Aunt Kris, and Sean's cousin. Aunt Kris came over to make sure my blood pressure wasn't too high. It wasn't. The headache was almost completely gone within 5 minutes of drinking some Coke and taking a Tylenol. Since Tylenol doesn't work that fast I am assuming it was the Coke. I had been drinking ALOT of Coke prior to getting pregnant. Enough to have developed a caffeine addiction. Without caffeine I get headaches. Well I hadn't had caffeine in almost 2 days therefore I got the worst headache of my life. I'm feeling better, everybody leaves, and Sean goes to work. About an hour later I start getting pain behind my ribcage on my front left side. It would stay as a dull pain then suddely shoot throughout. I called Sean he sent my mom over and at 12:30am we set of for the Scott & White while Rickey came over to listen for Riker. It was hilarious being at the hospital where my husband is a security guard because everybody thought I was a crazy since security was following me and hanging out in my room. At one point my doctor (who was awesome) told one of the nurses that I was. HAHA. He did my a ultrasound because I am pregnant so I finally got to see my blob's heartbeat and so did my mom. My hubby didn't get to because he had been out of the room working while we were waiting and while out there became tied up on the phone with a psycho and beacuse of her he missed it. This beyond pisses me off. I hate the fugly man beast anways but even more so now. But the nice doctor gave me a picture to show my hubby. My diagnosis was a pulled musle. I'm just going to have to wait it out and hope that all the pain will stop. He said it may also be just "pregnancy pains" and could stick around for awhile. That's no good.I am most likely switching doctors to Dr. Hancock at Scott & White. I have heard great things about him and while I loved my doctor while Riker I no longer love his office staff. With all the new people it just doesn't feel the same. I would rather be new at a new doctor than feel new at a doctor I've been to a thousand times. Also it will be very convienant to have my baby at the hospital my hubby works at. I haven't had my first officially doctor visit yet. I plan on doing so around week 12. I should have a new belly pic up tomorrow. YAY! Currently working on names. Sean has a few he is pretty set on I have none. If it is a girl Rae is for sure in the name. If it's a girl Sean wants Marilyn Rae (a name I created when I was 12.) If it's a boy Sean wants Evan James. I think both names are two plan but I haven't thought of anything myself at this point.Did the Draino test we did with Riker and it was girl! We will just have to see if it was right again. If so, it will be the 10th time someone I personally know has used it and it's been right. If not, I will break the chain of accurate predictions.
The MOST Terrifying Thing That Has Ever Happened To Me

This morning I was running a little late to work was feeling pretty cruddy. I usually take I-35 to work and decided to instead take the back way that leads to Stony Point, The Outlets, and all that. I get to a four-way stop. Usually four-way stops have 4 stop signs. Well, this one has 3. Didn’t notice that at first. After I stopped at the stop sign I began to go, realized there was no stop sign and saw I truck coming and put my brakes back on. All I had done at this point was roll my tires. I mouthed, “Sorry.” Nobody could have gotten hurt or anything. Guy stops in the middle of the intersection starts waving his arms, cussing at me, and just going absolutely nuts. I mouth, “What?” because I was seriously confused at his about of anger as he started to finally drive and so did I. When he notices this. He dead stops spins around. He starts coming after me full speed. As his right behind me I fly into a driveway as he passes. Had I not pulled in so quickly he would have rammed me at about 50 mph. He never slowed down only got faster. That’s when I realized; he wasn’t trying to scare me he was trying to hurt me. I look around and he is completely out of sight so I back up and as soon as I’m on the street, there he is driving even faster than last time I got about two houses down and fly into their driveway. Then he is off again. I pick up my cell and call 911. I have no idea of what the street name is so I tell her that it’s the main road in between the HEB Plus and the Colonial apartments I am past the nicer neighborhood and into the older part. I tell her the house number and everything she has no idea where I am. I tell her there is only one main road. She continues to tell me that I should go to a street sign I explain to her I can’t do that every time I’m on the street he comes after me. Finally out of frustration I just hang up. Maybe one minute later I have a cop calling me and he’s on the road. He was obviously smarter than the dispatcher. He comes over to the car and talks to me I tell him what happened give him a description of the truck. Another officer pulls up he tells him all about it. I’m in tears. I am truly the most terrified I have ever been in my life. So the cop gives me an escort all the way to the road my job is on. Makes sure I am okay and then he drives away. (Side Note: Officer Blake Bearden is an extremely nice officer.) I just can’t believe something like this would ever happen outside of a movie. He clearly planned on ramming me. Thank God I was alone and thank God he didn’t get to because he could have hurt my baby. What kind of person does something like this to another person? Especially for no reason. Please people in that area keep your eyes out for a white guy average build driving a silver Dodge Ram with a 6 in the first 3 digits of his license plate number. If you are able write down his whole license plate number and get it to be so I can pass it on to the police.
Bambino Number Two

Today was my first doctor's appointment. I'm 10 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Due August 29th. Baby looks great heartbeat was booming. She/he was dancing all over the place. When Riker heard the heartbeat he starting going, "Whoa!!!" It was too cute. I've gained 6 pounds already. I started at 122 I am now at 128. Oops. I'm so excited to be a mommy again!!! I can't wait. I go to a specialist within the next two weeks and then I go back to my doctor on March 12th. Girl: Rien Rae ArmstrongBoy: Jaekin (no middle name yet)

On Tuesday my husband will be leaving until Thursday to go enlist in the National Guard. Then shortly after he will leave for 11 weeks of basic training. I'm gonna miss him but he will be back before the baby is born. I'm sooooo proud of him!!!!

My Riker. We turned his crib into a toddler bed on Saturday and put some brand new Transformers bedding on it (b/c he isn't a baby). We assumed we would struggle getting him to stay in bed. Nope! Not once. Everyday at naptime and at bedtime he is put in his bed and he stays there. YAY!!! So proud of him!
It's Official.

Yesterday Sean was sworn into the National Guard. I am soooooo proud of him!!! He leaves for basic training on April 28th. Which is a little later than we had hoped but what can you do. He will be gone 17 weeks and 6 days. For those of you who can't do math that means he will be back August 31st. Which is after I have the have the baby (due date is 8/29). He may get back after 14 weeks which would be August 4th but probably not. But hey I would rather him get back and the baby still be a newborn than see her/him be born, leave and come back to a baby who is already crawling and developing a personality. I'll have my mom and Susan for the birth so I'm good. My summer plans so far. In June Riker and I will be moving. June 27th - baby shower. July 13th - Riker's birthday. July 18th - My Birthday. Then we wait for the baby to be born and become a family of 4 plus 2 dogs. lol.
A girl? Maybe.

We went to the doctor today. The baby looks great. (I put 7 pictures in the Pregnant with baby number 2 album.) The ultrasound tech said she felt like she saw a girl. It's really early still. We won't find out for sure until April but the ultrasound tech when I was in my 13 week with Riker said he was a boy. So we will see. The next doctor's appointment is next month.Riker is really starting to be interested in mommy's tummy.
My Current Events

I can feel the baby move now. I forgot how awesome it feels. I went to the doctor today and we scheduled my "BIG" ultrasound f0r April 9th @ 10:15am! YAY! I can't wait! Third, we put in an application at an apartment in Cedar Park. A 3 bedroom of course. I'm really hoping we get it. We will know by the end of next week. There isn't a reason f0r us to not get it but it still makes me nervous/anxious. If we get it Riker & I will move in June 6th. Unless they let us move in on the 30th 0f May which I prefer. But we will just have to wait and see. Oh and I got a raise last week and I am elgible for another one in May! YAY ME! Ab0ut Riker, he is just awesome! Gotta love him! About Sean, I love him so much. He is great and I am gonna miss him so much! Well I think that just about covers it! I will provide more information as it happens!
Moving Day - June 6th

We officially have a moving day. June 6, 2009. I just found out today that we for sure got the apartment! YAY! So, in June Riker and I will be moving to a 3 bedroom apartment in Cedar Park. It's a bottom floor. Thank God! With a 2 year old, a newborn, two dogs, and no husband for the first 3 months we live there I can't imagine being on a second or third floor. Also, this new place will be a 6 minute drive to work instead of the current 20 minute drive. YAY! Can't wait!

This April is going to be a bit crazy in our family. On the 4th; Sean, Riker, & I will be going to Corpus Christi. Riker LOVES fish. So, we are going to take him to the Texas State Aquarium. Hopefully we will have time to go down to the beach too. On the 5th; Sean & I are driving to Houston to attend Wrestlemania we will get to meet some of the Wrestlers since he's National Guard and it's being sponsored by the National Guard this year. On the 9th; we are finding out the sex! YAY. After my 10:15am doctor's appointment. We will go Register at Target and Babies R' Us! Fun, Fun! On the 25th; we are going out to dinner with some family & such @ Saltgrass for Sean's "Going Away Party". Then on the 28th, Sean is leaving for Fort Benning and we won't see him again until September 9th. He is going to leave his duplex in Round Rock, his 5 1/2 months pregnant wife, and his 21 month old son. Then return to his apartment in Cedar Park, his post partum wife, his 2 year old son, and his little baby girl/boy. How surreal.

I already have one wonderful little boy, Riker Sean. Now I am lucky enough to be having a little girl, Rien Rae, this August. Yay. I get to play Barbie and play with cars. I get to shop in the boy's section and the girl's section. I am so excited!!! YAY!!! I am also excited because I am at the halfway point until she's here!!! Heck yes! I can't wait!

Riker's 2nd Birthday: For Riker's Birthday we scheduled to have a party at the park on 7/11/09. Since he loves going to the park. Well almost nobody showed and 95% didn't even take the time to say they weren't going to come. But he had a blast anyways. Sean and I have always said we will throw our kids a party every year and if people don't show who cares. We will always make the effort and they will have fun. After we opened presents we took him swimming. Another thing he loves to do and had hot dogs with Grandma and Uncle James. By the end of the day he was worn out! On 7/13/09 his actual birthday we took him to the zoo in Waco. He had a blast! Sad thing is, we enjoyed it just as much! The Tigers were his favorite but when when went to the gift shop so he could pick out anything he wanted, he picked a giraffe. That night we took him to Gattiland where his cousins, a few Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents came to have fun with him. WHAT A LUCKY KID!!! Or should I say spoiled? My 22nd Birthday: So, it was my full intention to go nowhere and do nothing for my birthday. Now that I have Riker his birthday is what really matters to me and with our birthdays being so close, I focus all my planning on his day. Well my mom and my husband said that I have to do something. So just just pick something I enjoy and do that. The morning of my birthday I decide I want to go downtown and take Riker to the Austin Children's Museum. We did and he had a lot of fun. Sean didn't understand how that was something for my birthday but if you had seen how excited he was you would understand. Afterwards we went to Barton Creek Square Mall and I got a few unexpected gifts while there. Then we went home, went swimming with my mom & brother, and had Tacos. It was a great birthday! I wan't really expecting to get anything but I got: Pink Roses, a new cell phone with a new case, a snowglobe, and some awesome dwarf frogs from the hubster and my son. (Also I had gotten the Wii Fit ahead of time as a anniversary/birthday present.)Cold hard cash from my mom, brother, and Grandma.A Coach purse and wallet from Whit (My mom's birthday.) For expecting to do and get nothing, I had an AMAZING day and made out like a bandit.
