On the 17th we went to Elgin to gets pumpkins. Well the pumpkins were horrible but Riker got to ride the ponies, go on a hayride, and pet a horse. Even though we left without pumpkins I'm really glad we went. It was worth it for the fun he had.
This Friday we went to the pumpkin patch at St. Richard's and got the kids pumpkins. I am super picky about the kind of pumpkin I get. I will look for an hour for one pumpkin. This year Riker picked his own. It wasn't a bad one but it was hard to let him do that because I am so OCD about perfect pumpkins. Pathetic, I know. We went home to paint them and he wasn't messy at all. I was so suprised. Rien Rae didn't do much at all on her's since she is only 2 months old and all. lol.
Saturday, we went to the Pumpkin Fest in Round Rock. Riker got to ride ponies again and enjoyed the petting zoo. I love taking him to stuff like that. He enjoys it so much.
Saturday night we took the kids to Trunk-or-Treat at Westside. Riker had a lot of fun and Rien got a ton of attention from everyone who saw her. She was quite adorable and Riker was super excited to get to be Buzz Lightyear.
