KAEDENCE IS HERE!!!

This morning Rien, Sean, and I woke up at 6:15am. Rien doesn't usually wake up that early so I think she might have know something was up. I got ready and headed to the hospital while Sean got the kiddos together and dropped them off at school. Due to the OCD person I am I had to bring everything including the car seat in. The nurses station looked at me like I was nuts because I was carrying it all in and didn't want help. I like to do things myself. :) Then the madre and the hubby showed up. Around 9 something they started my pitocin and Natalie got there. At 9:30am my doctor came in and checked me...I was 4cm. Then he broke my water. I told him he could come back around lunchtime because I wanted to have her in time to get fed some lunch. A few minutes after that I was a 5cm. At 10am I was a 7cm and got my epidural at 10:15am. At 10:45ish they stopped the pitocin because my contractions were coming too fast. At 12 something I started to push and at 12:14pm she was born. Kaedence Rose Hope Armstrong. 9 pounds even and 20 1/2 inches long. She was a cute little chunker and had a squishy little butt. Tamara got there like right after she was born. I was excited because I had no idea she was coming. We all visited for awhile and then Natalie and Tamara went to get Razzoos! Because Kaedence was 9lbs the nurses tortured her to make sure her sugar was at exact numbers they wanted. Those numbers were impossible on colostrum so after fighting with them and being there two days and threatened with more days we got her number where they wanted and got out of there ASAP. I drove the 3 kiddos home from the hospital, it felt so wierd. Sean went to his dad's to get us some leftover Thanksgiving food. I was worried about coming home with 3 kids alone but it went great. Kaedence is amazing and we love her!!!

Tomorrow is her day!!!

So, about an hour before my doctor's appointment today I started having contractions 8 - 5 minutes apart, then 5 in ten minutes, and then they stopped. My doctor checked me and said I have progressed a lot. I am definitely a full on 3cm, baby is way down and, I'm super thinned out, etc. Basically, I'm good to go. He then says, "Do you want to have a baby tomorrow?" At first I thought that was his way of saying there is no way I'll make it another 24 hours. Then I realized he was asking me to induce. I am not at all a fan of inductions with no medical reason. I don't care if other people want to, it's just not for me. Then he tells me he is leaving town Wednesday morning. I'd rather been induced than have a stranger deliver my baby. So next thing you know the Office Manager is on the phone begging Seton to let me in tomorrow for over 15 minutes (this is a busy time to induce because of Thanksgiving). After she informs the hospital that I give birth quickly and I am physically looking really ready. They agree to let me in. So, this is it. Induction is scheduled November 23, 2010 @ 8am. I am sooooooo anxious!!!! I am currently waiting for my last "prego meal". I have to stop eating/drinking at 12am. So my honey needs to hurry back with my dinner. That's only an hour and a half away. My mom is freaking out because both other births were private, just Sean and myself. This time she gets to be in the room. I can't wait for the morning!!! I know I won't be sleeping tonight!

Thursday, October 28th

Kaedence was a fruit cake on Thursday. She was giving me very uncomfortable contractions for quite a few hours but they never got closer than like 6-7 minutes apart. The doctor said I am now 2cm dialated and thinning out and that she should be on her way shortly. It could be days or weeks. Who knows?

10/15/10 and the follow up...

On Friday night I went to Seton to get checked out (it had NOTHING to do with the baby, it was related to me being sick and some extreme pain it was causing). They made me go to labor and delivery because I was 33 weeks 6 days. I went back there and they decided I probably had a UTI or a kidney infection. They had me all hooked up to monitors and I had some contractions but not real ones of anything. They were really weak and random. They were giving me fluids and antibiotics. They planned on sending me home shortly. All the sudden out of nowhere I began having real contractions every 2 minutes. So some nurse flies in with a shot, pokes me in the arm with it and tells me it's so stop labor. Apparently my body randomly decided it was good to go. This dang shot sent my heart rate up to 125ish but did stop the contractions after a few minutes. Then they did an exam and discovered I was 1cm dilated which is no big deal. What was a big deal was them thinking I was leaking amniotic fluid....turns out I wasn't. Then I went home. :)

On Tuesday I went to my doctor and it turns out I didn't have a UTI or a kidney infection. Thank goodness because I was having to take extra pills and I hate pills. He also said the hospital did that test that determines if you will go into labor within 2 weeks and it was negative. So according to that I definitely won't have Kaedence before next Friday, the 29th.

My next appointment is 10/26/10. It's getting closer!!!

This Sunday was my baby shower hosted by Miss Natalie Jayne. It was lots of fun and the first time there has ever been an event I had no control of. She made yummy sausage balls that I loved so very much and did not want to share. My Mom had some awesome pumpkin cookies made. She ordered like a million so I am sharing some! I was so glad that some awesome people came and we got some great stuff for Kaedence. THANK YOU to Natalie Jayne for doing such a great job throwing the shower and designing K's bedding. Thanks to everybody for the gifts for Miss Kaedence and for coming.

It's OCTOBER!!!! A few new things...

It's finally October! :)

Yesterday we went to a birthday party for Riker's friend Hunter at Pump it Up. Riker had a lot of fun. After that we had some time to kill in Round Rock since Sean didn't have to be at work for 2 more hours. So at Rike's request we went to PetsMart. We looked at the fish, the reptiles, the kitties, and the birds. A typical stop at PetsMart. But then Riker wanted to look at the Guinea Pigs. So we asked to hold one. The first one he didn't like, he wanted to hold the black one. He immediately lit up and asked to take him home. Sean and I both looked at each other, we had never seen Riker so excited about a pet. We had to. I owned a guinea pig and several hamters and a kid so I am used to these kind of pets. Riker had some money so he got the guinea pig. He named him Piggy. Within minutes of touching him I began sneezing, my eyes were itchy, and I developed a rash. I never been allergic to Guinea Pigs or any other animal before but I am allergic to Piggy. We think it may just be stuff on his fur so we bathed him. I haven't toucheed him yet to see if that worked but we will see. If so, I will just have to tuff it out. Riker is way to happy for me to take this away from him.

Today we went to see Thomas the Train in Burnet. It was just us and Riker. Rien Rae stayed behind with my Mom and brother. Riker had a blast! We will have to take him back next year if he still loves Thomas!!! :)

On the way home we started talked girl names randomly and I told Sean the name I wanted from day one but disregarded because it wasn't an R name. Kaedence Hope. After my Uncle Kay "Doc" Crabtree and my Aunt Hope Crabtree. He said he loved it but he really wishes we could use something for his Grandma Laura "Rosey" Rosendahl. So we suddenly decided, Kaedence Rose Hope Armstrong. Now I have never been a fan of double middle names but it's really important to us that we both get the names that matter to us. Uncle Doc died of cancer a few years back. I hope nothing but wonderful memories of my great uncle and aunt. They are/were beautiful people. Uncle Doc was a great man and Aunt Hope is an amazing woman. Grandma Rosey is one of my favorite people in the world so this has to be done. We have never been so wishy washy on names but this name was the first name I thought of and I guess that was why. But now we just have to be sure to have a 4th so we can have 2 R's and 2 K's. :)

30 Weeks!!!

Today I am 30 weeks!!! YAY!!! 10 weeks OR LESS to go!!! I can't wait to meet my newest baby girl.

I can't wait for October to get here!!! So much is going on.

Just a Random Blog

So, I finally know why I have been so tired and out of it. I am apparently anemic. I have always been borderline anemic but ow I have crossed over the line. So now I have to take 3 pills everyday and I HATE pills. My prenatal with extra iron, another pills with iron and such, and a straight iron pill. Oh joy. :(

I am so anxious to meet my little, Rielle Hope. I love labor and the whole experience. (I'm weird, huh?) I just have 11 weeks or less left of waiting. I always get really anxious once I hit 30 weeks. My only concern is getting to my hospital in time but I have several plans to make it possible.

This Saturday was Rien's first birthday party! She got some very pretty dresses, 12 wonderful monogrammed bows, a princess couch, jewelry box, and a few other items. Aunt Haley got to come all the way from California just to attend the party. Okay....so that's not the only reason but thats all Buggie needs to know! She had fun but still not a fan of cake. I had to feed it to her with a fork. She didn't have near as many guests as Riker but she's too little to notice.

Rien's 1st Birthday!!!

So the morning of Rien's 1st birthday Sean and I went in a got her together and wished her happy birthday. Fed buggie her favorite breakfast of blueberry waffles. We had her open one gift, her new Moo Boo Jungle Queen Outfit with bow and headband. Then we all got ready and headed to the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco. :) So we got to Waco at 9:24am within moments we realized I had forgotten it was Sunday and the zoo didn't open until 11am. Oops!!! So since we were in Waco well there is nothing. We were forced to go to the Bellmead Walmart to waste time. OMG, you would have thought Rien was a celebrity. Apparently folks down in Bellmead have never a little girl who wears outfits like Rien. They were obsessed with my daughter. While there she decided to use her money from Aunt Hope to buy a Tinkerbell Barbie. After that we headed back to the zoo. We all had fun and since we got there at opening it wasn't crowded at all. Then we headed back home. Once we hit Georgetown we took her to a late lunchat Chili's where she enjoyed fries and mac n' cheese. She had everybody's attention, other people's waiters, etc. Then we went swimming, ate dinner, and had birthday cake. Rien was not a fan of the birthday cake. lol. It was a great day! MY BABY GIRL IS ONE!!!

Update on The Armstrongs

Sean has had his school and work schedule all changed up in the past week and we are adjusting. Monday-Friday he has school from 6am-11am. Then Monday-Saturday (minus Wednesday) he has work from 12:30pm-9:30pm. We will be so glad when school is over in January! Sean will get a break from waking up at the crack of dawn and the kids will get more "Daddy time" because he'll be able to keep them until he heads to work at 12pm. So they will get to go to school almost 4 hours later I am not a fan of them being in a preschool but it's what we've gotta do to make that money! lol.

Rien Rae will be 1 next Sunday (the 15th). I can't believe it. It's hard to grasp because she is still so small. I like to think of her like a baby. She stands but I don't think she intends on walking for awhile. She went to her specialist yesterday and he said she doesn't have to come back anymore. She is finally just above the 15% in hight and weight! YAY for my buggie! Also, for the past several weeks she has started playing with Riker it is hilarious to watch. She also makes faces at me to get me to laugh it is so cute!

Riker Sean is becoming quite and amazing big brother. He's always been pretty awesome but now if Rien is crying he does everything he can to help. He has also developed quite a sense of humor. He tells jokes and does all kinds of crazy stuff. He loves to singn he loves his trains, and to cuddle his momma! He is a great kid!

Rumer Jaymes is just a growing. At my last appointment she was still a little under a pound and 11 inches long. It's hard to believe she'll be here in just 4 months! I've gained 15 pounds so far. Which is about my norm. I never gain more than 30. We will see.

Riker Sean's Birthday Party!

Sorry guys! I am a little behind! Riker's birthday party was the 17th and he had a ton of fun! He had lots of friends and family come over. We had hamburgers & hotdogs and hung out back where the kids played in the pools and waterslides. Rien even stayed awake for most of it. She is usually a bum and sleeps through everything. lol. He loved his presents and ate cake for days after! No that that's over we are on to Rien's Party August 21st! BUSY BUSY!

Riker Sean's 3rd Birthday!

On Monday he brought cupcakes for his class. It was his first school birthday. Then on Tuesday (his actual birthday) he got some awesome stuff from mommy, daddy, Rien, & Rumer for his birthday. Then my mom, Riker, Rien, and I headed to Houston to go to the Aquarium. He loved it! We had lunch at the Aquarium's restraurant (yum!), rode the Shark Voyage twice, rode the carosel twice, rode the ferris wheel, and went through the exhibit twice. He also got to pick out a prize from the gift shop. He enjoyed every second. (Pictures are on Facebook). Now I just need to plan Rien's birthday adventure!

Rumer Jaymes Armstrong!!!

She is named. I rearranged the kids rooms yesterday so Rien & Rumer could share a room. I moved Riker to the smaller room & he's all excited about it. He says it's his big boy room! I can't wait to get the kids rooms 100% done!

It's a.....GIRL!!!

So, it's official we are having another girl. She has no name right now which is killing my OCD. We are excited I hope her and Rien will be best friends. I can't wait to meet my beautiful girl! I just REALLY need to name her!!!

July is Here!

Every year July means a dozen events for us. First the 4th of July. We went to Milburn Park in Cedar Park and had a lot of fun. All of us. Then the 7th is our 6 year anniversary. Then the 12th we find out the sex of our baby. The 13th is Riker's 3rd birthday. He will get a whole day about him. Then that Saturday is his party. Then that Sunday is my 23rd birthday. Then it's time to start preperations for Rien's birthday and party in August.

As of now I really need to figure out what we are going to do on Riker's actual birthday and I am running out of time.

Curiosity

I am suddenly really curious about what the new baby's stats will be.

Riker Sean Armstrong was born at exactly 40 weeks (July 13th). My water broke before 9am. We went to the hospital. I had him at 2:42pm. He weighed 8 lbs 3 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Rien Rae Armstrong was born at exactly 38 weeks (August 15th). I had gone to the hospital because I felt weird. No pain or anything just felt uncomfortable. My water broke around 1:30am and she was born at 3:13am. She weighed 6 lbs 14 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long.

I am just curious of what this one will be. I have to wait up to 24 weeks to find out. NO FUN! But hey at least we get to find out the sex from the doctor in less than a month. :)

Moving and Baby Names

So, we are moving the 16th. Woooooohooooo!!! I can’t wait. I am so sick of this apartment. I can’t wait to have a yard again! Riker loves playing outside and Rien loves the outdoors too. I am super anxious to get this move done. I will get to sleep in my own room. Because Rien will finally be in her own room. Not with us anymore!!! I love that girl but it’s been really frustrating getting kicked out of my own room because she won’t sleep in the same room as me. If we are in different rooms she sleeps 7:45pm-9am but as soon as we are in the same room she up every few hours. No beuno.

Baby names…..
We want a R name. I came up with Raiden. The hubby came up with Riston, Rourke, Rogan, and Roth. I said Riston or Rogan and then he decided he wanted Rourke. Now he likes Roth more than Rourke. I just want a name for my son!!! Ahhhh. I am too OCD to not have a name picked yet.

Waiting....

Uh...I hate waiting. We still don't know about the house. He keeps asking for more crap. Which I guess is good because if his answer was no he would have said so by now but I need to know!

Houses

So today I looked at 2 rental houses in Leander. The first one was great...the second one was awful. Great neighborhood but TINY and lame. So I filled out the application just to find out someone beat me to it. Tomorrow I'm going to look at another house. I hope it's great and I actually get a shot at it this time....:( I put my notice in at my apartments a few days ago and now I just need a place to live.

Baby Girl, Babino Numero 3, and my Riker

So my baby girl went to the doctor on Wednesday and they have taken away her Failure to Thrive and Short Stature diagnosis! She is almost on the growth chart!

Also on Wednesday we went to see the baby. I'm due November 27th and my doctor said I'm fine. No blood sac....nothing. I can hold my babies again!!!

Riker is so excited about the baby. He constantly goes up to the fridge were we have the ultrasound pics and gets all excited. He yells, "Momma it's my baby!" He rubs on my belly. He is so excited. He is getting closer and closer with Rien. He is always making sure she is okay and loving on her and trying the make her laugh. He is a great brother.

November 26th-ish

Early this morning I began having some pain so after awhile I decided to go to the hospital to get checked out. Well they confirmed my pregnancy and I saw the little bugger. No pics to share though. The said I am about 10 weeks 3 days putting me at November 26th for my due date. So I was only a few weeks off. I thought I was 3 months and it turns out I am 2 1/2. So I was close. Well anywho there is one hang up. I have a small sac of blood behind the placenta. The ER doctor and my OBGYN don't think it will result in a miscarriage but they want me to be very careful. No lifting of over 10 lbs. No exercise. Pelvic rest. Etc. So everybody please just pray that everything works out. The doctors didn't specify how long I should worry but I'm just going to hope he is okay.

I'm Pregnant...AGAIN!

So, many of you are wondering how the heck I am just now finding out and why I think I’m three months so here is the story.

Several months back I lost all my Rien weight and was working towards my goal of loosing an extra 6-11 pounds. For a while I was making progress, then around February/March I began gaining weight. Now I understand hitting a plateau but weight gain, what the heck? I was working out everyday something clearly wasn’t right. My clothes started to fit too tight or in some cases not at all.

Other signs I should have picked up on besides my weight:
- Nausea
- Super HUNGRY
- More tired then usual
- Milk supply decreased

Finally on Wednesday around 11pm I took a test. And it turned positive as I was taking it. The pregnant line is noticeably darker that the “your test worked line.”

So….
Boy’s name is JAEKIN JAMES ARMSTRONG. James after my little brother.
Girl’s name is JACELYN HOPE ARMSTRONG. Hope after my Great-Aunt Hope.

My brother thinks it’s twins. I think I’m about 3 months due to my size and such. I know nothing definite until 5/5/2010 @ 9:15am when I go see my doc. I haven’t had a cycle since Rien so all I can do is guess.

Pictures with Libby

First of all I would like to start of my saying I know 4 photographers other than Libby. They all 5 have great portfolios.

So, anywho….on Sunday Libby took Bluebonnet pictures of the kids. I have only seen two pictures so far but I can assure you I will never again step foot in a chain studio. Once you have professional photos done, you can’t possibly go back.

My Tiny Princess

Rien Rae Armstrong is a little girl. It's obvious to anybody who looks at her and knows how old she is. At almost 8 months old she weighs 13 lbs and is 22.25 inches long. At Rien's 6th month appointment instead of making progress she had lost weight and gotten slightly shorter. So he asked that we come back at 7 months and we did. Her length didn't change and she gained a few ounces. He referred us to a pediatric gastroenterologist. We went on Wednesday and I expected to him to blow it off and say some kids are just small. But...that was not the case. Turns out Rien is in the 3% for weight and 2% for height. He is more concerned with her height than her weight. He had me take a stool stample of Rie's to the lab and scheduled her an upper GI for Thursday, April 15th. I don't know if any of you have ever had to see an upper GI done on an infant but I asked the process and it sounds like utter hell. She won't remember it but I know years from now she'll ask for a $60 dress when I'm trying to get her the $30 dress and I will think of that moment and by her the more expensive one. In additional to being small, she can't crawl and can't sit up unsupported. Her brother was terrorizing my home by Christmas (5.5 months old). At almost 8 months old those things are the norm. He said due to her not growing her muscles aren't growing therfore for while mentally she can, physically she can't. Her muscles are too weak. Right now he is having me up my protein so my breastmilk can help her and during the weekdays while she is in childcare her formula is supposed to have a higher powder to water ratio. He hopes that pushing calories will make all the difference. We will see.

Her possible diagnosis are Failure to Thrive and Short Stature. The way the doctor wrote it....FTT, short stature? So he isn't sure yet.

March is almost over...

It just a few days it will April. In April it will be Riebug's 1st Easter. YAY! Also, we will be getting the kid's pictures done with Libby on the 11th! I'm really excited. We are also probably going to take Riker on his first train ride. He is so into trains right now and I think he'll love it! I'm really anxious for Thomas the Train coming in the fall. He just might freak out. We will probably leave Rien with my mom and let it be his thing. No sister.

Also, April means yet another month closer to getting out of this apartment. It means only 3 months left!

So, bring on April!!!!

The Fire

Today the kids and I were hanging at home. After lunch I decided to make Riker the last of the cookies in the freezer. So I preheated the oven and got Rien changed for nap. Then as I was getting Riker ready the oven began smell an awful smell. I went to the kitchen opened the stove and it was full of flames. I then closed it turned it off and called 911. She told me to get the kids out of the house since oven fires turn quickly. So I wrapped the kids up in blankets and took them to the Jeep. The fire men came put the fire out and then after a little bit gave us clearance to go back in. They said it looked like there was probably some grease on the bottom of the stove. Which I think is weird and that it must have already been there from before we moved in because I do all my cooking on top of the stove or in my crock pot. The fireman specifically told me not to touch the stove until maintenance comes and says it's good and plugs it in. I put Rien down for nap and called the apartments like the RRFD told me to do. When I tell her without one stitch of concern she asks me to if I can come down and fill out a report for them. I say no my kids are down for nap. So she asks me exactally when they will wake up. I say I don't know and ask her if they can just give me the report so I can fill it out and drop it off. She tells me that's not how it works. Long story short we are all fine and that woman is awful.

March 19, 2010

Today we went to Cameron Park Zoo with Aunt Haley. I got a little lost in Waco but that always happens when I'm with Haley or anybody really. It was Riebug's firat zoo trip but I don't think I'll count it since she just chilled in her stroller not caring. Maybe she'll care by the time we go to the Houston Zoo in August. So anywho. We had fun. Riker just wanted Aunt Haley to carry him everywhere. He fell asleep on the way home and cried upon arriving home and discovering I had taken her home. He wanted "HER" back in his car.

After we got back I took the kids home and went to go see Mia Jayne. She is such a pretty girl. Natalie and Jason are proud parents and they should be she is beautiful. I can't wait to see more of her. I love when people have babies! Now if I can just get Haley to be a mommy. I'm ready to be an Aunt!!!!!

7 Months/March

RIEN RAE IS 7 MONTHS OLD!!! She is such a blessing. She is always happy and has the most beautiful smile. She is an AMAZING little girl and we are so lucky to have her!

Her brother is pretty awesome too! That child cracks me up. The things that come out of his mouth are hilarious.

Work is work. Some people irritate me and some people I think are great. I try to avoid the irritating ones. I swear you can't wait to grow up so you don't have to deal with childish people but it only gets worse.

FYI. My weight loss sucks. I haven't lost a pound since February but I haven't gained one either. I am still at my pre prego weight but I haven't lost any of the 11 pounds I want to loose by May. It might help if I try. Anybody want to make me or at least make it stop raining? LOL. Maybe I'll do some Wii fit tonight.

Rien was dedicated at church on Sunday and she was beautiful in her Kate Mack!!! She is such a princess.

Last Monday (the 8th) Riker and Rien started going to child care. It's been hard but apparently they are enjoying it since I have to make my son leave with me because he doesn't want to go home.

March is Here!!!

So, I have 6 lbs to loose in 16 days. But thanks to donut holes, banana bread, pizza, and not working out in 2 weeks.......it will need to be a miracle or I could try harder. I more likely that I will gain weight than loose.



Haley Rae will be here in 18 days!!! Yay. I can't wait!



The kids will start going to a child care next Monday. It makes me really nervous but we have no choice. She seems relly nice and she has a lot of great references but it is just hard to do. This is the first time the kids have been with a sitter that isn't family or a close friend. I just hope it goes well. Riker loved the other kids and it seems like he will have a really great time. I really think it will be fine. It just makes me sad because even though I starting working full time over a year ago. Riker was staying home with Daddy not someone else.

March is almost here!

Rien is having her baby dedication on Sunday, March 14th. If anybody wants to come, please do. She has a new outfit from Gingersnaps for the occassion. :) She is growing so fast. She has the sweetest personality. She's starting to look a lot like I did when I was little. She laughs all the time and loves anything her brother does. He is her favorite person. I bought her first can of formula today. I don't know if we will have to use it but there have been a few days while at work that she barely has enough milk. So, I bought it just in case.

Both kids go to bed everynight at 9pm and sleep til between 7am-9am each day. Lucky me. But I don't go to bed until way after them because I am a moron. haha.

Work. AHHHHH!!! It's crazy and there are a few people there that seriously need to go. They are liars and phonies and it is so frustrating. But their time will come. I just have to try to not let it get to me in the meantime. I love what I do it just gets stressful. Especially right now while I am taking on so much. I just need to find a system that works for me. Also to some other people, 75% of us work 10x harder than you so quit complaining or leave. You irritate me.

Anywho. I seriously need to start working out but I always have the kids when I am not at work so it's pretty much impossible. I need the weather to improve so I can work/jog with the kids. I still have 11 total pounds to loose by Mother's Day. 6 of that I have scheduled to loose by St. Patrick's Day.

Haley Rae is coming to Texas next month. I am sooooo excited. I haven't seen her since June. This will be here first time meeting Rien. I must buy Miss Rien Rae something cute for the occassion. (It's my excuse.) This will be her first visit that we will get to hang out. No birthday parties, baby showers, etc. Just hang out. Thank God. It's about time.

Sean got a new car! Finally we each have our own car! It's a 2007 Hyundai Accent Hatchback. I was a little pissed because it's white. I wanted my Jeep to be white but he insisted we get it in black. Not fair!!!

Well March is full of great/new things.

Sean started a new full time day time job so the kids will be starting childcare...which I am very nervous about. Expecially since I am supposed to meet with the potentional sitter on Saturday. I just hope we click and I feel like I can trust her otherwise....I might cry. My mom and two very close family friends have approved her but I need to approve her. The kids have never been in childcare before so it's stressful to me. What if Rien takes her first steps there. Then what? That would crush me. I will ask that she doesn't tell me anything like that. Just pretend like it's didn't happen. I think that's the right thing to do. I hope she can start Monday if not, AHHHH!!! I only have my mom's help through Friday.

Rien Rae is 6 Months Old, Ect.

Today our princess is 6 months old. It's so hard to believe that 6 months ago after a long labor that lasted almost 2 hours. HAHA. Just kidding please no one slap me. My total time in labor for two kiddos was seven hours. Do any of you moms want to slap me know? My next baby will just fall right out. LOL. Rien is such a sweetheart. A lot of her food is homeade. Which is a lot easier than I thought it would be. She is a big fan of baked apple and banana. My mom and Sean think it's pretty tasty.

Friday Sean had my favorite flower delivered to work. He is on a roll so far that's 2 months out of 2 months in 2010 that I have gotten flowers. Pink Roses in January and Oriental Lillies in February. That night Sean and Rien went to a Daddy/Daughter Valentines Dance. He had so much fun taking her. I wish they had Mommy/Son dances because Riker loves to dance and sing.

Last Saturday Riker and Rien had their first sibling photo taken together. Riker loves having his picture taken but was VERY unhappy to share the spotlight with Rien. Next Saturday we are getting pics of just Rien. We bought the kids some new clothes and shoes, went to Emma's birthday party, and then went to Babies R' Us to take advantage of the 25% Trade in. It was hard to say goodbye to our old stroller and carseat....it was Riker's. I seriously wanted to cry. But, that carseat was set to expire before I plan on having another baby so it had to go. We had planned on getting a new carseat for Rien but since the carseat I wanted (Britax Boulevard) only had 2 styles available in store, Riker ended up with the new one because it was more boyish than the onyx Boulevard we already had.

Riker is growing up so fast. I love that we have actual conversations now. His great loves are trains, Buzz, Dino Train, Sid the Science Kid, and snacks. Any snack really.....the kid likes food. He eats alot of healthy stuff so it doesn't bother me.

Sean starts a new job on Friday and it's full time. I work full time too and as of right now we have no childcare. AHHHHH!!! My mom can help some this month but I am running out of time to come up with a plan. Seriously if anybody knows of someone or somewhere that can start by March 1st let me know. PLEASE!!!

As for my weight loss, I still have 11 pounds to loose. Not baby weight, that's all gone. This is just extra stuff. It's my goal to have 6 of that gone by St. Patty's day. I missed my V-Day goal by 3 so I really hope I can catch up! I need to be in shape by swimsuit season.
